KiloLima supplies, installs, operates, and maintains hydrometeorological systems and sensors in remote locations. We’ve provided installation, commissioning, operation, and consulting services throughout Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Over the past seven years, we’ve installed systems in remote locations from sea level to 1,500 meters above sea level; from some of the hottest deserts, to tropical conditions in Africa, the Amazon, and remote islands, to freezing conditions for systems at altitude. We have installed in areas of heavy rainfall, high humidity, and in coastal areas with aggressive corrosive environments. We enable manufacturers, project owners, and forecasters to have and operate systems in remote locations without having to leave their office.
Installation and Commissioning
We supply, transport, import, install and commission remote hydro meteorological stations and sensors; or any combination of these services. We often work with station owners or manufacturers who supply equipment and require us to either integrate it with other components, or provide mountings and structures for a complete system, or simply install their complete stations.
We help ensure systems are continuously operating smoothly. We can monitor data, alert users to any errors or potential errors, or conditions which may impact operations. We train and work with local personnel to provide necessary day‑to‑day tasks, such as cleaning or minor interventions. We aim for stations to operate without error, for errors to be detected as rapidly as possible and corrected.
We provide routine and emergency maintenance using our own field staff as well as local personnel. Our goal is to keep stations continuously operating, recording, and relaying accurate and reliable data.
